Fourth of July

For us Americans, the fourth of July is our Independence Day. I had a great time with my friends in Boston, and watched one of the best fireworks display I’ve seen to date in the rain. Absolutely wonderful. I hope everyone who celebrated had just a grand time as I did.

An interesting and well-known fact is that the United States’ second president, John Adams, and third president, Thomas Jefferson, both died on the fourth of July in 1826 within hours of each. What a coincidence! Or not . . .
